Gas Leak repairs you can trust

If you smell natural gas in your home, it’s important to act quickly. Your safety comes first. Leave the home immediately and move to a safe location, then call the Enbridge Gas Emergency Hotline at 1-866-763-5427.

Enbridge will send a technician to confirm the leak. In some cases, they can isolate the problem right away. If not, they will shut off the gas at the meter and place a warning repair tag on your home.

What happens after the gas has been shut off?

Once the gas has been turned off, it cannot be turned back on until the entire home is inspected, tested, and repaired by a licensed gas professional. This can feel overwhelming—but that’s where we come in.

Please contact us at 416-879-2812 to request a repair to your natural gas supply line leaks.

How We Safely Turn Your Gas Back On

Your safety is our top priority. When restoring gas service to your home, we follow a careful, step-by-step process to make sure everything is secure before the gas is turned back on:

  1. We Shut Everything Off First
We safely shut off the gas meter and disconnect all gas appliances. This protects your appliances while we test and repair the gas line.
  2. We Test the Gas Line
The gas line is tested with high pressure to check for any leaks. This test is required by code and helps us make sure the line is strong and safe before gas flows again.
  3. We Find the Leak
If there is a leak, we use specialized tools and hands-on methods to locate it quickly and accurately.
  4. We Fix the Problem
Once the leak is found, we repair the gas line so it’s fully sealed and safe.
  5. We Test Again for Peace of Mind
After repairs, we repeat the test to confirm there are no other leaks and the system is completely secure.
  6. We Restore Your Gas Service
Once everything passes inspection, we reconnect your appliances and safely turn the gas back on.

4.3.7  – It shall be the responsibility of the installer of a piping or tubing system to perform pressure tests in accordance with Clause 6.22.2. And to ensure that the piping or tubing system is gas-tight at the completion of the tests.

FAQ's

Gas leak repairs can be priced in several ways. Most companies charge a base fee just to show up and run a pressure test. After that, many switch to hourly billing.

We don’t.

We charge by the leak—because it’s the only fair way to do it.

Hourly pricing gives dishonest contractors an incentive to waste your time and inflate your bill. We’ve seen technicians sit through the entire pressure test even after the leak is clearly identified—just to keep the clock running.

Worse yet, some companies intentionally repair one leak at a time, despite knowing there are multiple leaks in the system. Each “extra” leak conveniently adds another 45 minutes to an hour of billable time.

That’s not service. That’s a cash grab.

Our process is fast, transparent, and results-driven. We identify all leaks upfront and fix them efficiently—so you’re paying for repairs, not wasted time.

If you want the job done right, without games or surprise charges, you’ve found the right company.

In most cases, this question can’t be accurately answered until a licensed gas technician is actively into the repair. Every gas system is different, and leak severity, location, and accessibility all affect the time required.

At a minimum, a gas leak repair takes one hour. On average, our process takes 4 to 7 hours, though more complex systems or multiple leaks can extend the repair time to 8 to 12 hours.

What we can guarantee is an efficient, methodical approach focused on identifying and repairing all leaks correctly—without unnecessary delays or wasted time.

In many cases, some drywall access is required to properly locate and repair gas leaks. After completing our pressure test, we first check all accessible and unfinished areas of the basement. However, gas lines often run behind finished ceilings and walls, which means opening drywall is frequently necessary.

When drywall needs to be cut, it is done carefully, strategically, and only where required to access the gas lines. Openings are kept as small as possible to allow for proper repairs.

Please note that while we complete the gas repairs, drywall patching and finishing are the responsibility of the homeowner or their drywall contractor.

Our focus is on repairing the system safely and correctly while minimizing disruption to your home.

No. The last thing we want to do is to cut open ceilings or walls. However, when access is required to properly locate and repair a gas line, we keep all openings to a minimum.

Please note that while we complete the gas line repairs, restoration and drywall repairs are not included once the gas work is finished.

Our goal is to complete the repair safely, efficiently, and with as little disruption to your home as possible.
